On 13 June 2022, Mrs. Rosaya Teinwan, Executive Vice President - Business Development, of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, and Mr. Panumas Limsuwan, Deputy Governor of Provincial Electricity Authority or PEA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) “Seeking Mutual Opportunities to Become Energy Suppliers and Operate Related Businesses” in order to work hand in hand with an intention to supply both fossil fuel and renewable energy in the energy trading projects of PEA, including the study of joint investment between PEA and GPSC, as well as its affiliates, so as to be well prepared for other service businesses, such as trading and exchange of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), Energy Attributed Certificates (EACs), or Carbon Credits. This also includes the study of other relevant business models that can be applied by the company as a service provider in the said platform. The ceremony was held at Rattanakosin Conference Room, floor 23, LED Building, PEA Headquarters, Bangkok.
