Internal Management System for Operational Inspection under Normal and Crisis Conditions

GPSC has developed an internal management system to facilitate operational inspection under normal and crisis conditions. This production and operation database system enables operators to access data for the assessment and analysis of every operational process and take timely corrective actions during an incident or a crisis. The system can immediately send out alerts to keep personnel and equipment safe during the operations as well as taking control to avoid abnormal situations along with mitigating potential impacts on stakeholders. This system, which can be applied using standard systems and programs, is equipped with a tracking capability to review and record data during normal operations and when errors occur. This information will then be sent to responsible persons on a daily basis with performance reports submitted to the executive team on a weekly basis.

Minimizing Production Losses

GPSC places a strong emphasis on minimizing production losses by adopting the Total Productive Maintenance system to engage employees from every division in the maintenance of equipment so as to prolong its production capacity and reduce breakdown risks. Moreover, GPSC is also working toward a zero loss and waste target by improving efficiency in specific production areas with the mission of minimizing losses, increasing overall production efficiency, and maximizing profits by implementing the following process:


Additional employee training on machine operations

GPSC has consistently worked on honing employee skills to operate machines effectively and minimize production errors. Employees are regularly trained using a simulation program with the training test result used as one of their performance indicators, which then factors into the consideration of possible promotions for employees in production-related roles. The program simulates realistic production scenarios from which employees can learn to solve problems and operate production machines effectively.

Power Control Equipment (PMC)

Power control equipment or PMC refers to the equipment that regulates the effective functioning of the power distribution system and helps prevent errors in power transmission between customers and GPSC.
