Fitch Ratings has assigned GPSC an A+ credit rating while upgrading the outlook to 'Stable', reflecting the organization’s solid financial management and efficiency which help foster confidence among investors, shareholders, and relevant stakeholders.

Mrs. Panporn Sasananan, Chief Financial Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, stated that “GPSC has been assigned a  National Credit Rating of ‘A+ (tha)’ and  an  International  Credit Rating of ‘BBB–’, both of which are considered investment grade, with a ‘Stable’ outlook. The credit outlook has been upgraded to ‘Stable’ by Fitch Ratings reflecting the company’s excellence in financial management, marked by strong discipline and efficiency during periods of energy price volatility. GPSC remains committed to effective cost management and continues to maintain strong operational efficiency, together with portfolio rebalancing strategy supported by debt reduction and solid cash flow. Fitch Ratings recognizes GPSC’s continued strategic importance as the power and utilities flagship of the PTT Group, reflecting the company's clear alignment with the Group’s overall strategic direction.

“The ‘A+ (tha)’ and ‘BBB–’ credit ratings — both at investment-grade levels with an improved outlook — highlight the stable return structure derived from consistent cash flow generation from core power plants, along with prudent financial management. GPSC has successfully reduced its debt levels following major overseas investments consistent with positive trends of regional clean energy portfolio expansion aligning with PTT Group’s goal in prioritizing renewable energy and optimization to support long-term revenue growth.” added Mrs. Panporn.
