On 18 September 2024, Professor Dr. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Chairman of the Board (the first from right) of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, participated in the seminar “The 4th Global RE-INVEST Renewable Energy Investors Meet & Expo”, which was organized by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of the Government of India. Thereby, the opening ceremony of the said seminar was presided over by Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. Invited to be a panelist on the topic of “Challenges of Foreign Investors in Renewable Energy Development in India,” GPSC provided suggestions about the guidelines to promote investment with an attempt to attract the investors worldwide to participate in the implementation of renewable energy policies as to the Indian government’s goals.

In addition, Professor Dr. Supot and the executives of GPSC visited the booth of Avaada Group, GPSC’s major business partner in India, which also took part in the event to showcase its advancement of renewable energy technologies and innovations. Currently, GPSC has invested in several renewable energy power projects in India, with equity capacity of 6,437 MW, holding 43% shares in Avaada Energy Private Limited (AEPL) through Global Renewable Synergy Company Limited (GRSC).
