GPSC invests over THB 1.1 billion developing the first semi-solid battery pilot plant in Thailand.

On February 12, 2020 Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich (2nd from left), President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, and Mr. Takehisa Muraki (2nd from right), Managing Director of Thai Takasago Company Limited, have signed a contract to construct Thailand’s first semi solid battery pilot plant at the contract signing ceremony, held at the Synergy Hall 2, 6th Floor of Energy Complex C Building, Jatuchak, Bangkok. The project worth over THB 1.1 Billion is located in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong province with the first phase’s capacity of 30 MWh, due to complete and commence operation by December 2020.
