On Oct 4, 2022 Mr. Anutin Chuaypen, Senior Vice President – Aromatics, Mr. Supasit Tongsupachok, Senior Vice President – Utilities, both of whom are representatives from PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, or GC, and Mrs. Sriprapha Sumruatruamphol, Executive Vice President - Commercial and Supply Chain Management of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), jointly participated in the opening ceremony of the Solar Floating Project. This project is established from the collaboration of the leaders in plastic innovation and energy innovation, and it is the first time that solar power generation have been implemented to supply power to the production process of the 2nd aromatics factory of GC Group. The aforementioned solar floating system is installed within the factory’s pond and it is in compliant to the policies of both organizations in terms of Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Emissions, moving towards "Together to Net Zero".
