On 25 June 2023, Mr. Jaruwat singsomdee, Senior Vice President - Subsidiary and Investment Management of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, presented awards to the winning teams under “GPSC Young Social Innovator 2023 (YSI Return Home)” project in the new format for the first time, which is based mainly on the idea to extend the qualified works of the participants in the GPSC Young Social Innovator (GPSC YSI) during the past 5 years. There are many projects in which the innovative inventions are so remarkable that they should be brought into commercial products and services in order to initiate the creative economy. Thereby, the final winning teams include: (1) The winning team is Team Sornram 1, Name of project: Chitosan and development of local fabric, receiving an award plaque, the prize money of 50,000 baht, and a certificate, (2) The 1st runner-up is Team Better Life Battery, Name of project: Modification of Li-S Battery with Irradiated Activated Carbon derived from Glutinous Rice, receiving an award plaque, the prize money of 30,000 baht, and a certificate and (3) The 2nd runner-up is Team Acheta, Name of project: Acheta cricket protein extract; product for healthy and eco people, receiving an award plaque, the prize money of 20,000 baht, and a certificate.
