On Nov 13, 2023 Dr. Buranin Rattanasombat, Chief New Business and Infrastructure Officer, PTT Public Company Limited and Mr. John Jonghun Oh, Chief Strategy Officer, Total Environmental Solutions Company Limited (TES) have joned the Memorandum of Understanding Ceremony in Battery Recycling Business between PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), Nuovo Plus Company Limited (Nuovo Plus) and Total Environmental Solution Limited (TES). Dr. Yuttana Suwannachot, Executive Vice President, PTT Innovation Institute, Mr. Manatchai Kongrakkawin, Acting Executive Vice President - Business Development, GPSC, Mr. Thitipong Jurapornsiridee, Director, Nuovo Plus and Mr. Luc Scholte van Mast, Managing Director, TES signed the MOU to seek opportunities for the development of technology and explore the possibilities of establishing a recycling battery factory in Thailand. This MOU aims to enhance the PTT Group’s overall battery business in the future while also exploring the possibility of integrating recycling technologies for the benefit of clean energy-related sectors. In addition, the goal is to enhance the potential for economic development, strengthen the achievement Net Zero Emissions and foster sustainable growth for Thailand in the future.
