On 12 December 2023, Mrs. Prinda Ma-Imjai, Acting Executive Vice President Corporate Services of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, participated in the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding for the project “Kon Mee Fai” with the qualified 5 agencies with the total installation of 105 kilowatts peak. Thereby, the said 5 agencies include 1) Ubon Ratchathani University Science Park, 2) Nakhonsawan College of Agriculture and Technology, 3) Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Hospital, Regional Health Office 8, Udon Thani Province, 4) The Press Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, and 5) Foundation for Environment, Community Enterprise Nameunsri Cloth Weaving Group, Trang Province. The signing ceremony was organized at GPSC Meeting Room, Vibhavadi – Rangsit Road, Kwaeng Chatuchak, Bangkok.

Initiated for the first time in this year with the collaboration of GPSC and the Renewable Energy Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries, the project “Kon Mee Fai” offers opportunities for the government agencies and the non-profit organizations, especially those operating in the fields of education, public health, natural resources and environment, to propose the sustainable social and community development projects with the condition that the proposed projects must make use of the money, derived from the reduction in electricity costs after installing the solar power system, to develop the communities nearby. Accordingly, GPSC shall support the installation of 500-kWp solar power system in the 5-year period, from 2023 to 2027, which is in line with GPSC's commitment to deliver clean energy and provide access to electricity for communities and society.
