On 24 June 2024, Dr. Patti Boonyasukanon, Division Manager, acting for Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, delivered the project "Kon Mee Fai" to Dr. Preecha Nootim, Director of Herb and Thai Traditional Medicine Development Division. Thereby, the aforementioned project is about the installation of solar panels on the hospital building of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Hospital, Regional Health Office 8, Udon Thani Province; and the main object thereof is to use the money derived from the reduction in electricity costs to support the operation of rehabilitation clinic by means of Thai traditional medicine

The project “Kon Mee Fai” was initiated from the collaboration of GPSC and the Renewable Energy Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries, and it has been implemented for the second year in 2024. The project offers opportunities for the government agencies and the non-profit organizations, particularly those operating in the fields of education, public health, natural resources and environment, to propose their sustainable social and community development projects with the condition that the proposed projects must make use of the money from the decrease in electricity bills after installing the solar power system, to develop the communities nearby. GPSC is determined to support the installation of 500-kWp solar power system in the 5-year period, from 2023 to 2027, which is in accordance with GPSC's commitment to supply clean energy and provide access to electricity for communities and society.
