On June 21–22, 2025, Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, together with Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairman of AVAADA Group, India’s leading renewable energy business enterprise, led over 20 executives from both organizations in a strategic workshop held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The workshop aimed to co-develop strategies and strengthen collaboration in driving the future of clean energy in India. GPSC has invested in Avaada Energy Private Limited (AEPL), holding a 42.93% stake. Since the investment began, AEPL’s generation capacity has grown from 3.7 GW to 20.6 GW—an increase of 5.5 times in just 4 years.

The workshop featured strategic discussions on various topics including renewable energy trends, decarbonization approaches, knowledge sharing, and innovative ideas. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in cultural learning experiences and visited key local landmarks such as Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, fostering team building and a shared vision between the two organizations.
