On July 18, 2025, Mrs. Prinda Ma-imjai, Executive Vice President of Corporate Services and Mr. Adrianus Josephus Van Den Broek, Executive Vice President and Advisor of Chief Operating Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, led company volunteers in collaboration with Ban Chang Subdistrict Municipality and the Rayong Community Forest Network hosted the event “Build Dam to Boost Damp 2025” at Baan Phu Don Huai Mahad Community Forest in Banchang District, Rayong Province for 11th consecutive years. This initiative has successfully implemented over 187 dam projects across approximately 50 rai of community forest land, aiming to restore the natural ecosystem, enhance forest moisture, and efficiently mitigate soil erosion. Furthermore, GPSC promoted the cultivation of six types of food crops and herbs namely turmeric, fingerroot, purple ginger, plai, wild ginger and dried ginger in the area surrounding the dam to generate supplemental income for the community through year- round harvests and benefiting over 250 households in the surrounding area.

Furthermore, GPSC has partnered with the Faculty of Forestry at Kasetsart University to conduct biodiversity surveys in the community forest. The findings indicate a significant increase in small plant and animal species, reflecting the success of ecosystem restoration efforts. These improvements contribute to carbon sequestration from the atmosphere and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at the community level. The initiative underscores GPSC's commitment to systematic ecological monitoring and collaboration with government and community sectors in driving environmental goals alongside balanced and sustainable community development. This effort highlights GPSC's dedication to corporate social responsibility, fostering environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability in partnership with public and community stakeholders.
