On 23 July 2025, Mr. Sirimet Leepagorn, President and Acting Chief Operating Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, joined the opening ceremony of Small Modular Reactor School : Interregional Workshop on Key Aspects of SMR Development and Deployment, the collaborative initiative between GPSC, PTT Public Company Limited, Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the Office of Atoms for Peace in Bangkok. The program enlisted industrial experts from 11 countries to exchange insights in planning the SMR power plant development in Thailand in the future. These collaborative efforts aim to foster the clean energy security for environmental sustainability with commitment to achieve goals through exploring opportunities of new partnership and technological resources from across domestic and international countries to strengthen Thailand’s energy efficiency.
