On 22 August 2025, Mrs. Prinda Ma-imjai, Executive Vice President - Corporate Services of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, along with Miss Wandee Inprom, village head of Klang Sub-District and the government agencies as well as the local offices such as Department of Forest Resource Management, 9 (Chonburi) and the Community Forest Science Promotion Center 6 participated in “Community Reforestation Project for Mab Chan Village 2025” at Ban Mab Chan Village, Klang Sub-District, Muang in Rayong Province.

This community forest is recognized as the crucial water resource for the locals however, the area has been devastated leading to ecosystem degradation. GPSC thereby recruited voluntary staff to grow 200 Golden Takhian Trees spanning over 10 Rai-community forestry estates. On this occasion, six nutrition and herbal plants including turmeric, white turmeric, fingerroot, cassumunar ginger, shampoo ginger, and dried ginger amounting to 200 kilograms were also brought to the program for planting and building food security for the community. The all-year crop rotation enables over 500 households to harvest throughout the year. In driving a sustainable restoration of community forests forward, GPSC has continued its forest maintenance program for the ninth consecutive year. The company regularly monitors the growth of trees and actively encourages community participation in forest care, aiming to preserve the forest as an essential watershed area while promoting balanced and sustainable use of natural resources.

In addition, GPSC has collaborated with the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, to conduct biodiversity surveys. Findings show a significant increase in the variety of plant species and small animals, reflecting the success of systematic ecosystem restoration. This initiative is part of GPSC’s ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) strategy, which seeks to balance business operations with natural resource stewardship. It reinforces the company’s role as a leading power producer committed to advancing economic growth alongside long-term sustainability.
