On September 20, 2025 Mr. Sutthi Chuasuk, Senior Executive Vice President of Operational Excellence at Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, led more than 170 executives, employees, and their families in a volunteer activity to clean up the beach in celebration of the 23rd International Coastal Cleanup Day 2025 at Saeng Chan Beach, Rayong Province. The activity successfully collected approximately 230 kg of waste, while also raising awareness of environmental conservation and sustainable waste management. This initiative reflects GPSC’s strong commitment to reducing resource consumption, minimizing waste, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions in line with its Net Zero target.

The event also featured a knowledge-sharing session on sustainable waste management, highlighting the concepts of Circular Economy and Zero Waste to Landfill. The discussion emphasized how proper waste segregation and reuse can reduce environmental and ecosystem impacts while indirectly lowering the organization’s greenhouse gas emissions in measurable ways. Importantly, this beach cleanup was organized as a Net Zero Event, incorporating low-carbon practices throughout the activity. Examples included encouraging participants to bring their own reusable water bottles, using eco-friendly packaging, and ensuring waste separation. GPSC also measured the greenhouse gas emissions generated during the event and fully offset them through the purchase of forestry carbon credits. The activity was officially certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), granting GPSC the right to use the “Carbon Neutral Event” certification mark. This initiative not only helped restore cleanliness to the beach but also marked another significant step in GPSC’s journey as a responsible energy leader committed to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and a firm progression toward the Net Zero goal.
