On October 20, 2025, Mrs. Parinda Ma-imjai, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, signed a collaboration agreement on the Carbon Credit Management in Forests for Sustainable Development Project with M.L. Dispanadda Diskul, Secretary-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage. The signing ceremony took place at the GPSC headquarters, Energy Complex Building, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for GPSC in driving its Net Zero goal through natural carbon sequestration while supporting PTT Group’s “2 Million Rai Reforestation Project.” The initiative aims to expand systematic and sustainable forest management and conservation areas.

The project will be implemented across community forests in three northern provinces—Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Tak—focusing on ecosystem restoration to enhance forest richness and biodiversity. It also emphasizes community development by improving local livelihoods and quality of life in tangible ways. Through the rehabilitation of natural resources, the project is designed to create long-term value benefiting the environment, society, and national economy. This initiative aligns with GPSC’s business philosophy of achieving balance between business growth and environmental stewardship while supporting local communities. It reinforces GPSC’s commitment to driving the organization and Thailand toward a low-carbon society, fostering sustainable value for all stakeholders in the long term.
