On November 7, 2025, Professor Dr. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited  or GPSC, the power flagship of PTT Group, together with Mr. Boonchob Suthamanuswong, Board Member of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage, led company executives, employees, and local community members of Ban Muang Ruang to plant trees under the Forest Carbon Credit Management for Sustainable Development Project at the Ban Muang Ruang Community Forest, Mae Korn Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.

This collaboration marks a significant step for GPSC in driving its Net Zero Emissions target through nature-based carbon sequestration, supporting Thailand’s national commitment to greenhouse gas reduction. In partnership with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, GPSC promotes sustainable forest management by empowering local communities to take part in long-term conservation. The project also includes developing a system for measuring and verifying carbon absorption to create value from carbon credits, thereby generating stable additional income for the community. This initiative reflects GPSC’s business philosophy of balancing economic growth with social and environmental stewardship, by restoring natural resources and advancing a low-carbon, sustainable economy.
