Recently, Mr. Sirimet Leepagorn, President and Acting Chief Operating Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, participated in The Roundtable on Advances in SMR Development, an international forum on Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology, hosted by the Embassy of Denmark in Thailand. The event brought together representatives from relevant government agencies, academic institutions, and private organizations from both Thailand and abroad. Mr. Sirimet highlighted the industrial competitiveness and urgent need for clean energy to support the manufacturing sector. The event was held at the Embassy of Denmark in Thailand.

The discussion aimed to exchange perspectives on advancements in next-generation nuclear technologies, particularly the Compact Molten Salt Reactor (CMSR): a SMR solution with key feature to generate clean electricity and high-temperature steam for industrial use. This aligns with Thailand’s national policy to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
