Recently, Mrs. Sirobon Boontaworn, Chairperson, and Mr. Perapol Umpaivit, Managing Director of Getz Energy Co., Ltd. (GETZ), a subsidiary of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of the PTT Group, together with Mr. Naoto Inuzuka, CEO and President of DENSO International ASIA Co., Ltd., and Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI), presided over the opening ceremony of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The project features a 2-MW-hour BESS designed to store surplus electricity generated from a solar power system with a total installed capacity of 7.8 MW. The system has been installed at Siam DENSO Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Chonburi Province. This project marks another significant milestone in advancing the DENSO Group’s goal of achieving full Carbon Neutrality by 2035.

As a clean energy partner, GETZ was responsible for the design and installation of the BESS to enhance the efficiency of solar energy utilization by storing electricity generated during the daytime for use at night. The system helps strengthen power supply stability while reducing carbon dioxide emissions. This initiative reflects GETZ’s strong commitment to delivering integrated clean energy solutions and supporting the industrial sector in its transition toward sustainable growth.

In addition, GETZ is preparing to offer end-to-end Renewable Energy EPC solutions to support government projects under Thailand’s Power Development Plan (PDP), while also expanding into the B2B and industrial sectors. These solutions integrate clean energy with energy storage systems to enhance energy security and sustainably reduce carbon emissions.

This initiative not only supports customers’ environmental goals but also reflects Getz’s evolving role as a key platform of GPSC in driving clean energy, innovation, and future energy solutions into commercial reality.
