On 2 February 2026, Mrs. Prinda Ma-imjai, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, along with Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), as well as the agencies of government and private sectors, kicked off the project “Youth Hackathon Inspired by the Royal Initiatives of the Queen Mother”, which is intended to equip Thai youths and university students with practical skills in the application of technologies and innovations to develop the solutions that can be further used to enhance the community economy in a sustainable manner Dr. Pimpron Cheevanan, Secretary to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), presided over the opening ceremony. Thereby, the event was organized at the press conference room on the 1st floor of Phra Chom Klao Building, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

The main objective of this project is to promote the skills related to systematic thinking, teamwork, and design of practical innovation prototypes, along with the enhancement of the capabilities to integrate modern bodies of knowledge with community contexts in accordance with the great aspirations of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. GPSC has also given supports to this project as this can clearly reflect the organization’s role to develop the next generations and strengthen the grassroots economy. Above all, this is also consistent with the company’s vision to become a leader in energy innovations with the commitment to flourish sustainably alongside the society and environment.
