GPSC has appointed its subsidiary, Getz, to undertake the EPC contract for a 98-MW IRPC-CP solar farm project, which is scheduled to commence operations in the third quarter of 2028. This project will strengthen the company’s power portfolio to over 290 MW, reinforcing its position as a leading integrated clean energy solutions provider, while supporting the growth of renewable energy in response to the global energy crisis and increasing electricity demand in Thailand.

Mr. Perapol Umpaivit, Managing Director of Getz Energy Company Limited (Getz), a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of the PTT Group, stated that the company, as a comprehensive clean energy project developer, has been selected to undertake the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a solar farm project of IRPC Clean Power Co., Ltd. (IRPC-CP), a Small Power Producer (SPP). The project, with a generation capacity of 98 MW, is located on an area of approximately 628 rai in Songkhla Province and is scheduled to commence commercial operations in Q3 of 2028.

The project is part of it reflects Getz’s capabilities as a developer of integrated clean energy technologies and solutions, supported by a team of experts in renewable energy engineering and design. This marks another significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion in energy innovation.

In 2026, Getz set strategic targets to expand its EPC business across both power generation and cooling energy segments. The company plans to participate in bidding for additional clean power projects totaling approximately 100 MW. To date, Getz has achieved over 290 MW of installed capacity in Thailand. In the cooling energy segment, operated through its subsidiary, the company expects to expand its capacity to nearly 28,000 refrigeration tons.
