GPSC wins contracts for 6 renewable energy projects totaling 105 MW based on shareholding proportion, ready to supply electricity to the system in 2028 and 2030 to EGAT and PEA, reflecting its potential in renewable energy project development, moving forward to sustainable growth, and supporting the business drive toward the Net Zero goal.

Mr. Manatchai Kongrakkawin, Executive Vice President of Renewable Energy and Decarbonization Project Development at Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of the PTT Group, revealed that GPSC has been selected as a power producer and distributor under the Energy Regulatory Commission's regulations on the procurement of renewable energy from FiT (Feed-in Tariff) 2022–2030 for groups without fuel costs, and has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for ground-mounted solar power projects with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) for a total of 6 projects, with a combined capacity based on contracts and shareholding proportion of 105 MW (megawatts).

The 6 selected projects are divided into 2 groups as follows: The first group has a Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) in 2028, selling electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), comprising:

• Helios 1 Project with a capacity of 24 MW
• Helios 2 Project with a capacity of 31 MW
• Nathap Solar Project 1 by IRPC Clean Power Co., Ltd. with a capacity of 38 MW, and selling electricity to the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)
• Helios 4.2 Project with a capacity of 4 MW

As for the second group, it has an SCOD in 2030, selling electricity to the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), comprising:

• Helios 3 Project with a capacity of 4 MW
• Helios 4.1 Project with a capacity of 4 MW

The selected renewable energy power plant projects align with GPSC's direction and strategic plan to expand clean energy investments with the goal of increasing the proportion of capacity to more than 50% to support the target of achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2050. This success is considered another major milestone for GPSC in advancing toward becoming a leader in electrical power innovation and jointly driving the transition to clean energy sustainably.
