Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovative power flagship of the PTT Group, together with Mr. Siripong Rungrotkitiyot, Mr. Angkrit Rungrotkitiyot, and Mr. Manatchai Kongrakkawin  the Board of Directors of Helios 1 & 2 Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Perapol Umpaivit, Managing Director of Getz Energy Co., Ltd. (Getz), and representatives from AKK Energy, recently presided over the signing ceremony for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract. The agreement for the ground-mounted solar farm project was officially signed by Helios 1 Co., Ltd. and Helios 2 Co., Ltd. (as project owners) and the Getz AKK Joint Venture.

The project features a total installed capacity of 148 Megawatts (MW), with a contract value exceeding 2.5 billion Baht. Construction is scheduled to be completed, with Commercial Operation Date (COD) targeted by 2028. This EPC contract underscores the robust collaboration between GPSC Group companies and strategic business partners to tangibly expand renewable energy businesses. It also highlights Getz’s capability to provide comprehensive end-to-end EPC services for solar power plant spanning design, equipment procurement, construction, and project handover. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Getz in scaling up clean energy investments, supporting Thailand's energy transition, increasing the share of clean energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and driving the nation toward a sustainable low-carbon society.
