On 25 March 2019, Mr. Saochai Sookkasem (right, upper line) Vice President of Plant Operations and Mr. Nimit Boonprasankit (left, upper line) Central Utility Plant Manager of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, have received the flags of environmental governance and safety, which are the projects those aimed to increase people participation in government environmental safety in 2018. The awards were granted by the governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) Ms. Somjin Piluek (4th from left, lower line). This year, GPSC’s Central Utilities Plant 1 (CUP 1) received excellent award of environmental governance (green star on white flag), while the Central Utilities Plant 3 (CUP 3) received the 6-year consecutive award of environmental governance (golden star on white flag). The awards granting ceremony was held at Somjate meeting room of IEAT office in Rayong province.
