PTT Group holds the 9th “PTT Group CG Day 2017” with the theme “CG in DNA: Together We Can”, aiming to instill awareness in the DNA of employees to encourage them to work with ethics and virtue in order to move the organizations toward the sustainable growth.

Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, holds the PTT Group CG Day 2017 under the theme of CG in DNA: Together We Can, which aims to encourage employees in every levels to work with ethics, virtues and transparency, which are major factors to lead the companies to sustainable growth.

Dr. Toemchai Bunnag, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, a power and utility flagship of PTT Group, on behalf of the host of the “PTT Group CG Day 2017, said PTT Group CG Day 2017: CG in DNA: Together We Can, is a major event held to emphasize transparency in every level of PTT working grounds. The project aims at creating good governance with international standard to be applied in all types and all levels of works in the company. This will be a major culture of the companies to be transparent with anti-corruption awareness that will help create strong confidence of all parties in the PTT Group.

“The CG in DNA: Together We Can is held under the theme of instilling virtues in the DNA of all levels of employees to encourage them to work with honesty, which can be traced in every stages, in order to prove that we are in the organization with social awareness that would lead us to the sustainable growth. Moreover, we also have a special speech delivered by Professor Vicha Mahakhun, President of the Anti-Corruption Foundation as well as a panel talks on the issue of “Decoding CG to carry on virtues toward sustainability in organizational culture” by 6 CEOs of PTT Group’s flagship companies. The CEOs are expected to show their visions to move their organizations towards growth with good governance, which are the collaboration of all employees in the companies, who want to create a good foundation for the PTT Group that would be carry further to other partners as well as our society eventually,” said Dr. Toemchai.

PTT Group holds such the PTT Group CG Day every year with the host of the event being rotated among the companies in the group. This is the ninth year with 6 companies taking part in the event which are: PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTCG), Thai Oil Public Company Limited (TOP) and IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC). Other non-governmental and governmental organizations also join the event, including representatives from the Office of the Auditor General, the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Thai Listed Companies Association and other civil societies.
